3 Breakfast Dishes To Try in Marylebone

Marylebone is a central London neighborhood sandwiched directly between Oxford Street and Regents Park. It’s a wonderful area that gives off a local, close-knit and village-like vibe, which is rather hard to come by when you’re residing in central London. Perhaps equally as important, Marylebone is filled with fantastic restaurants, many of which cook up a delicious and unique breakfast offering. Below I’m sharing 3 of my favorite dishes in hopes that it will inspire you to jump out of bed, indulge in a delightful treat & seize the day that lies ahead!

1. Seasonal Pancakes at La Fromagerie

Every Saturday & Sunday, La Fromagerie on Moxon Street serves up an epic brunch menu that includes a handful of savory specials and at least one dish that aims to satisfy those of us with a serious sweet tooth. This time of year, you can expect to find fluffy pancakes made with pumpkin puree and a side of mascarpone cream.

Fabrique-Baker-Cardamom-Buns

2. Cinnamon & Cardamom Buns at Fabrique Bakery

Those who know me best, know that pastries are my ultimate weakness. It takes all of the willpower in the world for me to say ‘no’ to a freshly baked croissant. Fortunately, there are an abundance of delicious bakeries dotted all around the Marylebone area. Technically Fabrique is located in Fitzrovia, but given it’s only a short walking distance from Marylebone High Street, I decided to include it in this list (though I should note that you can also find their cinnamon and cardamom buns at The Monocle Cafe on Chiltern Street).

Providores-Turkish-Eggs

3. Turkish Eggs at The Providores and Tapa Room

Prior to dining at Providores I had never heard of Turkish Eggs, but now that I’ve tried them, I simply cannot get enough! Imagine perfectly poached eggs served in a bowl of whipped yogurt and chili oil that you spoon over a piece of grilled sourdough toast. What could be better?! Here’s a tip: try to score a seat by the window so you can watch the world go by while browsing the day’s paper and magazine supplements.
